Fans of This Morning were left disappointed today after Pink's appearance on the popular TV show left them wanting more. Viewers who had tuned in to the ITV daytime show were confused that the American pop star wasn't asked to sing whilst on the show.
Instead baffled fans watched as celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo ended the programme on Tuesday by playing a song with his new band. Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, took to the This Morning couch to chat to presenters Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary.
The appearance comes ahead of the release of her much anticipated new album Trustfall this week. The pop icon spoke candidly about family life on the road, the process she uses to write songs and took part in her first ever 'trustfall' with Josie to promote the album.

She also admitted that despite being well known for taking to the air with huge stunts while on tour, she is actually scared of heights. Fans of Pink were understandably excited at the possibility of hearing a song from the new album on the show. However, the excitement turned to confusion as Gino, who has been off air for a number of weeks, debuted a song with his new band instead.
Taking to Twitter, fans of the show shared their disappointment that Pink was snubbed in favour of Gino D'Campo and his band. Cíara said: "Can’t believe they had @Pink as a guest yet they have Ginos “band” singing on #ThisMorning"
Another person tweeted: "Something is so wrong here. Gino's band are mic-ing up and Pink has left the building #thismorning." Stephen added: "Pink is literally in the studio but they've got Gino singing?"
Collette shared the disappointment saying: "Waited all morning for Pink and got Gino's band singing at the end of the show. Devastated. I love her so much." Another user added: "They’ve got Pink on but they’re letting Gino sing?!!!"
Gino took to twitter following his performance to thank fans for their support. He said: "Grazie mille for all your positive comments from SWilkesOfficial performance on thismorning."
You can watch This Morning on weekdays from 10am on ITV.
