Phillip Schofield will not host This Morning on Monday, with Holly Willoughby getting a new co-star on the ITV daytime show.
Viewers first got an inkling that there was going to be a big shake-up of personnel on the popular week day programme, when regular Friday presenter Alison Hammond announced on air, right before credits rolled, that she would be back to front the show on Monday, with the news blindsiding fans.
At first, many This Morning viewers thought that it would be Holly who'd be absent but instead it is Phillip who Alison is standing in for. It is not yet clear how long Phillip will be absent for, but many fans have reacted with delight at Alison being given another opportunity to step up.
