Phillip Schofield has shared the heartbreaking words from his daughters that saved his life.
The 61-year-old broadcaster sat down with the BBC's Amol Rajan for a tell all interview. Mr Schofield quit ITV last week after he admitted having an affair with a younger male colleague.
Mr Schofield claimed his television career is over after the scandal. He said: "I am done and have to talk about television in the past tense, which breaks my heart."

The 61-year-old said the scandal has had a "catastrophic" impact on his mental health. He said: "Do you want me to die? Because that's where I am. I have lost everything."
Mr Schofield has two daughters, Molly and Ruby, and claimed he wouldn't be here without their intervention. He said: "My girls saved my life. They said last week, they haven't left me for a moment, they have been by my side every moment because they're scared to let me out of their sight. What is that like for daughters to have to go through something like that?
"They said to me 'don't you dare do this on our watch, we're supposed to be looking after you'. If my girls hadn't been there then I wouldn't be here because I don't see a future. How much do you want a man to take?"
