Phillip Schofield delivered a sarcastic parting shot to This Morning viewers as the show was cut short by ITV on Wednesday.
For the third show of the week, Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby were joined by a variety of guests including ex TOWIE star Ferne McCann, who broke down in tears as she issued an apology over her voice note scandal and the show's resident soap expert, Sharon Marshall, who teased big storylines coming yup in Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
Regular viewers of This Morning first got an indication that the programme would be finishing earlier than expected, after the game of Spin to Win, which typically takes place near the end of proceedings was moved forward an hour.

The reason for This Morning drawing to a premature close at 12.15pm was down to ITV's live coverage of Jeremy Hunt's Budget. In a week when the channel's schedule has already changed significantly due to the Cheltenham, the Budget news special even forced the horse racing to be moved to ITV4 as correspondents like Robert Peston gave their reactions.
Phillip and Holly don't shy away from talking about politics on This Morning and, after Holly confirmed that the show would be ending 15 minutes early and teased what was coming up on Thursday's show, Phillip had the final word as he quipped: "Have a lovely Budget" with a deadpan look on his face.
Phillip's announcement came as one This Morning viewer took to Twitter to complain to both the show and ITV for the amount of adverts, writing: "watching this morning- it's been on 15 mins and already advert breaks...then 2 mins after they come back another advert for a competition...I mean why?? Why so many ad breaks?? Turning over now"
