Reports of a rift between This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have dominated headlines recently. But according to one insider on the ITV show all is not quite as it seems.

Holly and Phillip have appeared on ITV’s This Morning together this week amid reports of a rift between the pair, and have put on a united front. The duo have fronted the show together for 14 years, as well Dancing on Ice, but their relationship is said to have come under strain in recent months

This Morning's Matthew Wright has now weighed in on the alleged feud between the presenters, the Mirror reports. The 57-year-old TV presenter appears on This Morning to discuss current affairs and often works alongside the duo. He tweeted: "Not sure I believe half of what you read about Holly and Phil. Terrific atmosphere on set today as per."
