TV presenter Josie Gibson has been announced as Phillip Schofield’s replacement on This Morning but the star hasn't always had such positive news.
The mum of one was left "devastated" when her ex Terry dumped her just months after giving birth to their son Reggie-James and kicked her out of there home on New Year's Eve in 2018.
The bubbly blonde presenter was then forced into being a single parent, which she has previously admitted was "devastating" whilst describing son Reggie as "a blessing".
Josie and partner Terry split on New Year's Eve in 2018 after an explosive row about his OCD battle. The couple had previously kept their relationship strictly private apart from confirming the birth of their son in the September, but Josie spoke up following the shock split that also saw her thrown out of the home she shared with Terry.
Following the split, Josie spoke to new! magazine as she revealed the heartbreaking split. She said: "He's got OCD and just after Christmas, he went mad about too many of my shoes being in the hallway. So I kicked off and said, 'Well, we'll go them!' And he went, 'Alright', and bagged up our stuff. So Reggie and me headed to a hotel.
"[It was] Two days before New Year's Eve. Me and Reggie stayed in a hotel for two nights before going to my house. We watched the fireworks out of the window while we unpacked. It was the worst New Year's Eve ever."
Not only was Josie left reeling from the split but she quickly needed to find her feet as she a single parent to baby Reggie.
Appearing on Loose Women in January 2019 with tiny tot Reggie just weeks after the split, Josie told the programme: "It's not what I wanted to come back and say. I was so proud of our family unit and that we'd done it properly, but yeah I'm a single parent. It's devastating really."
Describing her transition to being a single parent, Josie revealed: "It is stressful being a single parent but sometimes it's easier working on your own and not having someone against you."
Speaking just weeks after the heartbreaking split on the ITV daytime show, Josie told the Loose Women panel and audience how she had found "inner strength" as she said: "I was panicked over the thought of doing it all on my own, but you get this inner strength and you've just gotta get on with it, you've got no choice."
As a solo mum to reggie, Josie has gone from strength to strength with the former Big Brother star now taking on the role of This Morning host alongside Holly Willoughby as Phillip Schofield's replacement.
