This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield 'barely speaking' say reports

This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield are reportedly now "barely speaking" off camera.

Insiders are quoted as saying the presenters' 14-year friendship has “cooled”. They claim that issues on the ITV show have “rumbled for some time” and Holly is said to have distanced herself from Phil.

Their partnership on This Morning has seen them win 12 National Television Awards. However, show insiders reportedly say they now do not seem to speak to each other, unless on camera.

An unnamed source reportedly said that should Phil leave, Holly would "want to stay”. And that while "they are acting exactly the same" on camera, "behind the scenes their relationship has cooled".

The Sun reports sources saying: “Before there would be a lot of banter and camaraderie off camera but that has dwindled.”

"Holly adores This Morning and for the first time in 14 years she has made it clear that should Phil ever leave she would want to stay. They are separate entities.

“To those around them on set, it has become clear recently that Holly and Phil are not as close as they once were."

Phil's absence following his paedophile brother Timothy’s recent court case has also added to the strain, claims The Sun. Holly was paired with Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett during During Phil’s absence - a move that was popular with many viewers

And, back in September last year, there was public backlash when they were accused of jumping the queue to see the Queen’s Lying-in-State.
