Holly Willoughby and Josie Gibson bid a farewell to a key team member on This Morning as they exited the show after 26 years.
The presenting duo, alongside chef Phil Vickery, were on hand to celebrate the man's huge involvement in the ITV mid-morning programme, as he bid farewell to the team after nearly three decades in the job.
Following a cooking segment, which saw Phil cook a range of fruit crumbles for the hosts, the team also prepared a special one to give as a parting gift to floor manager Tim, who has been working on the show for decades.
Speaking on the ITV show, Holly shared: "We've all had ours. There's a spare one there - and that one is going to our floor manager Tim who has been a resident at This Morning for 26 years and today is his last show!
"So Tim well done you and thank you for all your hard work! Good luck for the next phase, wherever you're going. Enjoy!"
As the credits rolled, the camera showed Tim enjoying his crumble, which Phil had served for him alongside some ice cream.
On today's show, Holly returned to the This Morning studios after a couple of weeks away. She had been busy in Italy filming a new television show for the BBC whilst Josie stepped in to assist her with presenting this morning as Phillip Schofield is currently at home isolating after being struck down with Covid.
Opening the show today, Holly said: "Hello, good morning and welcome to your Thursday's This Morning."
Turning to Holly, Josie replied: "Good morning! This is so nice. Welcome back because you've been away."
"I've been away but it's lovely to see you, I feel like the blondes have taken over TV for the day. Who left us in charge?" Holly joked as her and Josie took charge of the ITV show.
Following their debut as a presenting duo, fans took to Twitter to share their joy at seeing the women on the show together.
"Definitely prefer Holly & Josie to Phil & Josie #thismorning," one wrote, as another added: "Absolutely loving Holly and Josie's pairing on today's This Morning already, should have this on Sunday’s @DancingOnIce while @Schofe is currently isolating."
