As she embraced Holly Willoughby with love and kindness after a tear-filled speech, 'big-hearted' Josie Gibson has cemented herself as the potential anchor to the fast-sinking This Morning ship.
From humble beginnings in the Big Brother house to being the helping hand in Holly's first day back after the Phillip Schofield scandal, Josie has become a friendly face on TV, reports the Mirror.
And now, insider sources believe that the 38-year-old could be the saving grace in keeping the show from the axe.

Josie won over the nation's hearts in 2010, after winning Big Brother over a decade ago. She has openly struggled with dieting and weight loss, and has become a popular face in women's magazines for her good nature and sense of humour.
Josie admitted that she had been struggling with her body image since she was six, but dropped six stone herself in 2012 - going from a size 20 to a size eight.
In 2016, she underwent surgery to remove loose skin, as she said at the time: "I am obsessed with food – I love it, have no off button and lick the plate.
"At times I’ve been so desperate to stop eating that I’ve left the dinner table and gone and put a bikini on for 20 minutes. But it still doesn’t work."
Josie also admitted that in a desperate attempt to keep weight off, she had turned to diet pills. She confessed: "They were meant to flush out fat but left me with spag bol in my pants."
Nevertheless, a range of weight loss books and exercise DVDs followed snapped up by fans.
Josie has had struggles in other relatable departments too, including men. In 2017 she was heartbroken when claims emerged her man Sam Player cheated on her with other women.
At the time, she said: "It looks like he picks single mothers and vulnerable women. They all told me he’s got a real nasty side and have claimed he’s been threatening."
She then found love with family friend Terry during an 18-month-long relationship. However, just months after giving birth to their son Reggie, the pair split.
Josie said: "I always thought that we’d get our dream house together. Maybe it’s me, maybe I’m just not good with men."
Josie was adamant to go it alone into single mum life with her son, and claims it is tricky but rewarding. She said: "It’s an absolute juggle but I make it work."
And now, with her good nature and warmth carrying onto the This Morning couch, bosses are convinces she is the secret ingredient to saving the ITV show from the Schofield scandal.
