The fall out from Phillip Schofield's ITV exit appears to be continuing as an expert claimed This Morning's future is now 'hanging in the balance'. PR expert Andy Barr, CEO of 10 Yetis Digital, claims Holly Willoughby also may need to ditch the programme for a new ITV show.
Phillip's former co-host Holly said she was 'shaken' as she returned to the sofa after Phillip left ITV, as he admitted to an affair with a younger male colleague, The Daily Star reports. Speaking to Daily Star before Holly's explosive speech, Andy explained that everything is "hanging in the balance" at ITV and that it might be best for Holly to host a new show rather than This Morning.
Asked whether Holly could leave ITV, he insisted it wasn't likely and that it's best for her to stay at the broadcaster to maintain her profile. He said: "I don’t think ITV will be too scared about her potentially leaving. Holly really has little choice but to stick with ITV if she wants to keep her profile high in the UK.
