This Morning fans think they've found Phillip Schofield replacement after previously thinking job was 'under threat'
Phillip Schofield may have no plans to leave This Morning but viewers believe they have spotted his replacement. It comes months after fans shared how they thought his job was 'under threat' after he was temporarily replaced on the ITV daytime show.
The presenter, who celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this month, returned to the show on Tuesday (April 19) alongside Holly Willoughby after taking two weeks off for their annual Easter break. While Holly, 41, didn't reveal too much about her time away, Phillip took to Instagram to share snaps from his skiing trip with some unlikely holiday companions.
During their first show back, Holly and Phil were joined by Holly's brand new co-host, comedian Lee Mack. The pair have teamed up for BBC One show Freeze the Fear with Wim Hoff which sees eight celebrities push their mind and body to the limit in freezing temperatures using the Dutch extreme athlete's teachings.

But The 1% Club host didn't want to just come in for a chat and got up to a bit of mischief, gatecrashing This Morning's fashion segment and strutting down the catwalk much to Holly and Phil's amusement.
Then, finally sitting down on the sofa to chat to the hosting duo, Lee joked: "It feels like me and you have had an affair and now you're back with your real husband," referring to Holly's co-host swap which is set to happen again this year as she fronts another show on ITV with Freddie Flintoff.
The comic also revealed that it's the first time he'd ever wore glasses on television and that he's waiting to undergo laser eye surgery, which requires him not to wear contact lenses for the time being. He added that it was actually Phillip who had recommended laser surgery to him off-screen.
He cheekily told Phillip "see you in court" if anything happened to him during the operation to which Phillip replied: "You won't find me," before moving swiftly on.
Despite the interview soon coming to an end, Lee returned as Holly and Phil hosted the latest Spin to Win feature. After delivering Holly her balls, he was then invited to spin the wheel for the lucky caller who gave the right passphrase when rung by the show. He also read Holly's lines from the autocue as he remained sandwiched between the pair 'like a spare part'.
But This Morning fans were loving his involvement in the show - and made a huge claim.
@suzysasha tweeted: "#ThisMorning @thismorning Lee Mack should replace Phil. He'd be a brilliant host."
"Lee Mack to replace Phillip permanently please @thismorning #ThisMorning," @kouganray echoed.
@suzysasha commented: "#ThisMorning @thismorning @LeeMack Love the 1%club. And Lee Mark is a great host. Why doesn't he present more shows instead of the same old boring faces."
"Lee Mack to be guest presenter #ThisMorning," @Miss_Vix88 shared.
It comes after Vernon Kay made his presenting debut on the ITV show just before Christmas, hosting alongside Josie Gibson. The Bolton-born TV presenter had fans calling him a 'natural' on the show and some viewers even went so far as to say that the former All Star Family Fortunes host should in fact replace Phillip.
