Two of ITV 's most popular daytime shows are set for a shake-up in the Christmas TV schedule in a first for the channel over the festive period.
Both This Morning and Loose Women will air between Christmas and New Year for the first time this year between December 28 and 30, along with Good Morning Britain and Lorraine. This Morning, GMB and Lorraine will all also air on Christmas Day for the third year running, ITV has confirmed.
ITV's festive line-up was teased in a new advert featuring Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield exchanging gifts, as well as Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary dancing together. The promo also stars Lorraine Kelly, some of the Loose Women, and GMB presenters including Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard, Richard Arnold, Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway.

Emma Gormley, managing director at ITV Daytime, said: "It wouldn’t be Christmas at ITV Daytime without the return of our Christmas Day special shows from Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning – all returning this Christmas morning for a third consecutive year. Also for the first time, This Morning and Loose Women will be on air throughout the Christmas period, alongside GMB and Lorraine, keeping viewers company this festive period."
Both Good Morning Britain and Loose Women showed off festive makeovers to their sets in Monday's episodes as giant Christmas trees could be seen behind the presenters. This Morning has been moved around to make room for World Cup matches and was absent from the morning line-up, but is set to return as usual at 10am on Tuesday, November 29.
