‘This is why people stereotype India’: Indian traveller tries to cut in front of long queue at Vienna airport, people force him back

An Indian traveller was allegedly confronted after skipping a baggage-drop queue at Vienna airport, according to an X user who said he witnessed the incident. The post has triggered a wider online discussion about queue etiquette, civic behaviour abroad and whether the actions of an individual should be linked to broader perceptions of Indians.

X user Arjun claimed that he saw the traveller spot a gap in the baggage-drop line and move towards the front instead of joining the queue at the back. “At Vienna airport, there was an Indian dude who decided to jump the entire baggage-drop queue by finding a gap and making his way straight to the front,” Arjun wrote.
