A new Thai restaurant is set to open in Cardiff this summer. Giggling Squid will open its first Welsh branch in the city centre after months of work on transforming the massive new venue, with another restaurant in Cardiff Bay set to follow next year.
Offering a range of 'Thai tapas' dishes, as well as curries, stir-fries and an array of creative cocktails, the chain has restaurants all over the country, but has never ventured into Wales since being founded by husband and wife team Pranee and Andy Laurillard over 20 years ago.
The new restaurant will open on St David's shopping centre on the Hayes, taking over three units previously occupied by Crabtree & Evelyn, Links of London and Radley.
