House hunters looking to buy a home in Manchester can expect to pay around £219,800 today, according to Zoopla's latest house price index. The average cost of a property across the city has shot up by 6.9 percent over the course of the last year, making buying a home much more unaffordable.
Despite the upwards trend over the last few years, the good news for buyers is that property experts say prices will start to come down soon. In its latest UK house price report released on February 28, Zoopla says that it expects month-on-month price reductions over the next two to four months, which is good news for new buyers.
With the average price of a home currently costing around £220,000, we searched Zoopla to find a variety of homes for sale in Manchester for this amount to look at how far your money can stretch when buying a property across the city region.
