Guessing game show This is My House is back this week for a one-off special for Red Nose Day. The Comic Relief episode will see four celebrities try to convince a panel of celebrity judges that they are the owner of the luxury home they are being filmed in. This is My House first aired in March 2021 and saw the likes of Emily Atack, Bill Bailey, Judi Love and Jamali Maddix amongst the star-studded judging panel. They had to guess which three members of the public were lying through their teeth and which one was telling the truth - if they guessed correctly, the homeowner won £1,000.
The series is now returning for a one-off celebrity episode in aid of Red Nose Day, which will air ahead of the live televised fundraiser for Comic Relief on Friday, March 18 from 7pm on BBC One. So which celebrities are taking part in the Red Nose Day special, when is it on TV and how can you watch it? Here's all the details you need...
When is the Comic Relief TV special of This is My House on TV and where can I watch it?
The Red Nose Day special of This is My House will air on BBC One on Wednesday, March 16 from 8pm. The episode is a one-off 30-minute show. You will be able to catch up on the episode via the BBC iPlayer along with the other Comic Relief specials which have aired this week across the BBC channels including; Rowing Home with Jordan North, Glow Up Does Red Nose Day and Tom Daley's Hell of a Homecoming.
Which celebrities are taking part in the This is My House Red Nose Day special?
There are a total of eight celebrities taking part in the This is My House Red Nose Day special. Four famous faces will be trying to convince the other four star judges - who get an insight into the four-bed house virtually - that they own the luxury home but only one of them is telling the truth.
The four judges are; former professional boxer Chris Eubank, Strictly Come Dancing host and Radio 2 DJ Claudia Winkleman, comedian Harry Hill and actress Nina Wadia.
The four celebrities all bidding to prove that 'This is My House' are:
Ricky Hatton - Former professional boxer
Claire Richards - Singer-songwriter and member of pop group Steps
Deborah Meaden - Business owner and Dragons' Den star
Rob Rinder - TV personality and criminal barrister
Ahead of Wednesday (March 16) night's episode Deborah Meadon tweeted a clip from the episode with the caption: "Tonight at 8pm on @BBCOne @RobbieRinder Claire Richards and Ricky Hatton come into my House and try convince you it is theirs in an episode of #ThisIsMYHouse for @comicrelief#ComicRelief. How Very dare they!!"
On recording the episode, Rob Rinder said: “When I was asked to take part in this special episode of This Is MY House, I just had to say yes as I loved the first series. It was also a brilliant chance to take part for a fantastic cause, Comic Relief. It’s a cause close to my heart so it was an honour to be involved.”
Step's Claire Richards added: “I had so much fun playing This Is MY House for such a special cause. I think people will be surprised and most importantly, entertained by how it all plays out. I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”
