This iconic piece of kitchenware is back with a new look – it's still as beautiful and in-demand as ever

KitchenAid Lydia Martha Stewart
KitchenAid stand mixer with wooden bowl surrounded by cakes and bakes on a kitchen counter.

Last September, our Kitchen Appliances Editor, Lydia, wrote about the launch of one of the most beautiful stand mixers we've ever come across. Yes, the KitchenAid stand mixer has always been an iconic piece, and one of the best stand mixers money can buy, but the Artisan Stand Mixer with Walnut Bowl, available from Williams Sonoma, truly is a stunner.

When it came out in 2024 Lydia wrote 'I'm obsessed,' and I can see why, even though I'm only an occasional baker. I would honestly consider buying this just to look at it on my kitchen counter. Ok, that might be a little indulgent, but we know that this KitchenAid stand mixer with wood bowl has got a lot more to offer than purely good looks.
