'This could kill her': Family's battle after care home give gran with dementia just weeks to leave

The family of a grandma with advanced dementia have spoken of their nightmare to rehome her after a care home in Wythenshawe announced its sudden closure.

Fiona Nolan claims she was given just four weeks notice that her 86-year-old grandma Mary would have to move out of the Peele care home as it would be closing for building work.

It comes just over 12 months after the facility, ran by Equilibrium, dropped a bombshell on residents that they'd have to find a new home as they announced refurbishment plans.
