This Chennai fair sells used clothes

CHENNAI: A sale of second-hand clothing and other assorted items is being held this weekend at KKSS White House here in Mogappair West. The exhibition is a conjunction between Wasted 360 Solutions, Kabusha Recycle Mart, and KKSS (Kalaiselvi Karunalaya Social Welfare Society).

Wasted 360 is a waste management service in Chennai, which aims to recycle, reuse and repurpose waste. They accept clothes, tetra packs and cigarette butts from people making sure these things are recycled.

Rather than being dumped in a landfill, these used clothes are cleaned, stitched, and sold. The aim of the event is to ensure these clothes get a new life and do not end up in a landfill, offering sustainable solutions for waste management.
