There were a lot of reasons to watch Alabama face Ole Miss on Saturday.
For starters, it was for sure going to be a compelling SEC West matchup. We also tuned in to see if Bryce Young could improve his Heisman Trophy odds, if Nick Saban threw any meme-worthy temper tantrums or if Lane Kiffin would pay homage to Taylor Swift in some form.
What we weren’t expecting was this game to be a showcase for big boys and their powers. No, we didn’t get a big-man touchdown or a defensive tackle scoring on a two-point conversion, but we did see Alabama right guard Emil Ekiyor Jr. absolutely obliterate Ole Miss defensive back Otis Reese Jr.
Pour yourself a glass of Fansville Reserve (or something else) and enjoy this.

To be fair to Mr. Reese, he was outmatched, and simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ekiyor checks in at 307 pounds, while Reese is about 225. He had a crimson-colored semi-truck coming at him and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
