KOCHI: Central agencies probing Thiruvananthapuram gold smuggling case are closely monitoring the latest developments including the revelations of key accused Swapna Suresh. However, they ruled out the possibility of conducting further investigation based on her statements as a majority of what she said were already revealed to investigation officers during the course of their probe.
Official sources with customs as well as enforcement directorate (ED), which had arrested M Sivasankar and Swapna Suresh in the case, said most of her revelations were part of her written statements.
