Feyenoord have reportedly knocked back a third transfer bid from Rangers for striker Danilo.
Reports in the Netherlands claim Feyenoord have thrown out an offer tabled by Ibrox chiefs for the summer transfer target.
Michael Beale admitted talks with Feyenoord over a move for Brazilian forward Danilo are ongoing.
However, FR12 report Feyenoord have rejected the most recent offer and do not intend to sell Danilo for €6million.
Feyenoord general manager also cooled talks of a transfer as he cited Danilo's importance to his current club.
Dennis te Kloese explained: ''Danilo is incredibly important to us.
''As a player, but also in the development of Igor Paixão, for example, who would never have been as far as he is now without the presence of Danilo.
"He also has a three-year contract with us.”
He added: ''No is also an answer, isn't it''
Beale revealed on Thursday that Rangers are in discussions with Feyenoord over Danilo but ruled out any "imminent" transfer business.
He said: "There are talks in the background on that one but he's Feyenoord's player at the moment.
"They are building after a really successful campaign last year so we will keep that between the two clubs at the moment and if there is any news on it we will update.
"He is obviously a good player."
