Ticketmaster has shared some top tips to improve your chances at bagging popular tickets.
Taylor Swift fans will be scouring the internet for top tips to help them bag tickets for the UK Eras tour. As the presale begins this week, through staggered dates, tensions are already rising.
Ticketmaster has previously shared top tips on how you can improve your chances of getting your hands on popular tickets. Despite the slightly unusual process fans must undertake for Taylor Swift tickets, the same top tips do apply.

However, it is important to note that those who want tickets must have a code and can only buy up to four tickets per customer. As the first lot of dates go on sale today, you can read all you need to know here.
Ticketmaster said: "Tickets will be available to purchase via the Ticketmaster website, and randomly selected access code holders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets starting at approximately the times and dates listed above. It’s a simple, standard purchase process and the steps below will help you navigate your search and purchase.
"We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. Please note, receiving a purchase link and code does not guarantee you tickets. Ticket availability is limited. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts."
What to do when tickets go on sale for Taylor Swift?
- Click the link(s) to the event page(s) for the show(s) you’re eligible to access.
- Log in to your account using the account credentials associated with this e-mail address.
- Waiting rooms will open 30 minutes before sales commence.
- Enter your unique access code. Should you receive an error, double-check you entered the access code exactly as it appears in this email.
- For the best chance to secure tickets, take a moment to select the ticket types and quantity that are right for you before you initiate a search.
- Do not refresh the page during this time.
- When completing your ticket purchase, stay within one browser window. Opening multiple windows or tabs to purchase tickets may result in errors.
- You may not purchase more than four (4) tickets.
- For a faster checkout, make sure your billing address and credit card information is up to date prior to the sale.

Create an account
If you don’t already have a Ticketmaster account, don’t wait for the morning tickets go on sale to create one. Go to Ticketmaster.co.uk and get your account set up with all your correct billing and delivery information.
Verify your account
If you’re creating a new account, you’ll need to add your phone number and confirm a one-time passcode. This is required to make sure all accounts are protected.
If you’ve already got an account but you haven’t verified it yet, you’ll need to add a phone number and confirm a one-time passcode (you only need to do this once). To update your account please sign in to your Ticketmaster account and go to ‘My Profile’ and then ‘Profile Details’.
Open your account
If you already have an account, get the details out of the way before tickets are available by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. We recommend checking passwords, delivery address and billing information now, to reduce any stress when processing your order later.
Make sure your card details are saved
When you set up a new account you’ll have the option to save your card details in Fan Wallet – making your payment options instantly available whenever you next want to buy a ticket. If you already have an existing account, you’ll need to log in and make sure your card details are saved in Fan Wallet.
Don’t refresh your screen
Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game.
