Police have launched an urgent appeal following the theft of £500k worth of tyres from a Wishaw wholesaler.
The thefts are believed to have taken from yards in the Newmains and Chapelhall areas of Wishaw on a number of different occasions throughout September 2022. The tyres stolen are from the brands Lassa, Tomket, Waterfall, Anchee and Threea.
Police have confirmed that following enquiries, a large portion of the stolen tyres have been recovered in Lanarkshire and Glasgow but a significant amount are yet to be found.
