Arsenal favourite Thierry Henry has defended the Gunners' business in the January transfer business after they fell to a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday.
Mikel Arteta was able to sign three players in the winter window, bolstering all three areas of his squad. However, long-term attacking target Mykhailo Mudryk was not one of them after London rivals Chelsea hijacked the deal with a £88million move.
Leandro Trossard was instead bought from Brighton for £21m after falling out of favour under Roberto De Zerbi. The Belgian was followed by Jakub Kiwior from Italian side Spezia and Jorginho from Chelsea.

The trio are yet to break into Arteta's consistent line-up, though Jorginho did start in Wednesday's defeat in place of the injured Thomas Partey. Trossard has come off the bench in all four of his league appearances in red, scoring in the draw with Brentford.
However, in the defeat to Man City, Arsenal looked out of ideas after Jack Grealish restored the away side's lead in the 72nd minute before Erling Haaland scored his 26th league goal of the season.
After the game, Henry discussed the Gunners' squad depth compared to their title rivals and admitted his fear of the squad being short. "You lost against a great team today. (Phil) Foden and (Manuel) Akanji come on, do you have the same bench at Arsenal? I'm not too sure," he said on CBS Sports Golazo.
"They go about their business a certain way. I don't think they just buy players for the sake of buying. Maybe they were targeting one that they couldn't get. They go with what they can target.
"If they can't get what they target, then obviously they go and get Jorginho. I don't think they wanted Jorginho at the start, but it happens. But, I still think that we're short."
He continued: "That was a lot of money to go and buy Mudryk. Was he going to have an impact straight away in that team? They went for Trossard, who knows the league and has been there for a long time. I wish we had more points.
"That Brentford game was massive for me. It was always going to happen. How are we going to react to that? It's not about how you fall, it's about how you stand and react to that. Hopefully we can do that but City are used to playing in that sort of battle."
