A thief gave a pensioner an outrageous response when she confronted him for stealing her purse in an Asda supermarket.
Paul Lipson, 53, targeted OAPs aged up to 97 as they shopped in stores including Tesco, Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury's.
On one occasion, after being confronted he told his victim: "I wouldn't do that, that's the lowest of the low."
