A burglar walked into a hospital and stole a number of items belonging to staff. Wesley Trevett also wandered into an 89-year-old woman's home in the middle of the day and stole £300 during a two-month crime spree.
Trevett, 42, has been jailed for more than two years, at Bolton Crown Court, after admitting to four burglaries between August and October 2021. He also pleaded guilty to an attempted burglary.
Prosecution barrister Philip Hall told the court that the first incident took place in the early hours of August 10, in Newbrook Road, Bolton. Trevett was caught on a ring doorbell walking up to a front door, pulling a mask over his face, and trying the handle. He then looked through the window of a car parked outside, before walking away.
