Chelsea star Thiago Silva has offered an interesting insight into how Graham Potter is managing his new group of players after replacing Thomas Tuchel as Blues manager.
The Brazilian defender was crucial in helping his side earn a 3-0 win against AC Milan on Wednesday, keeping star striker Rafael Leao quiet for the entire match. Silva has impressed since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain and despite turning 38-years-old last month, he continues to be a rock in defence for the Blues.
The Brazilian is enjoying some good form after Potter's arrival having grabbed an assist in the win over Crystal Palace at the weekend, despite being at the centre of some VAR controversy after many questioned why Silva was allowed to stay on the pitch after handling the ball. The 38-year-old has started every game of Potter's reign so far and looks set to continue at the back following Wesley Fofana's latest injury.

The Brazilian centre-back has praised Potter for his 'humble communication' and man-management since he replaced Thomas Tuchel. Speaking to HaytersTV after the win, Silva said: "He's a very special guy, a very nice and humble guy.
"We have had just a few conversations already. He doesn't need to be perfect in the dugout, he knows how to manage the players well and he gets to organise the team well with his very human, humble communication.
"That makes us grow as players and gets us goals. Today was a special victory for him and his first one at home. I'm sure it will continue like this, hopefully!"
Silva's insight into Potter's management style suggests the players are enjoying working with the new head coach and he hopes it will continue throughout the remainder of the season. Chelsea face a difficult test against Wolves at the weekend with former Blues striker Diego Costa set to return to Stamford Bridge, meaning the Brazilian defender will be in for another tricky game after handling the threat of Chelsea transfer target Rafael Leao really well on Wednesday.
