Thiago Alcantara talks with Paul Pogba spotted as Luis Diaz copies Jurgen Klopp in Liverpool rout over Manchester United

Liverpool’s win over Manchester United was enjoyed by every Reds fan, as well as the players and the staff.

A Mohamed Salah brace supported by goals from Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz secured a 4-0 victory for Liverpool. It followed on from the 5-0 triumph at Old Trafford from earlier in the season.

It was a win that temporarily moved Liverpool to the top of the Premier League ahead of Manchester City by a single point. However, City responded 24 hours later with their 3-0 victory over Brighton.

As has become tradition at Liverpool, the club have released the latest edition of the ‘Inside Anfield’ series. The video showed several behind the scenes moments from the Reds’ win over Manchester United.

One moment highlighted in the video came at half time, where Liverpool were already 2-0 up in the match. It showed Thiago Alcantara deep in conversation with Man United’s Paul Pogba, who had departed the contest in the 10th minute with an injury.

Another relatively recent tradition at Liverpool has been Jurgen Klopp’s fist pumps in front of the Kop after a win. The Reds boss did so again, and he wasn’t the only one.

While Klopp is celebrating with the Anfield crowd, both Diaz and Virgil van Dijk can be seen copying the manager’s celebrations in a light-hearted fashion.

Liverpool now have six league matches left to play this season, starting with a home clash against Everton in the Merseyside derby this weekend.
