Thiago Alcantara's wife issued a heartfelt tribute to the Liverpool FC star.
Julia Vigas has been married to the midfield maestro since 2015 and they share two children, Siena and Gabriela. Thiago has completed a demanding pre-season schedule ahead of the Premier League's return this weekend.
The Reds travelled to Thailand, Singapore and Austria as Jurgen Klopp gets his team ready for the upcoming campaign. Julia has travelled back to Spain with the two children for a relaxing holiday while Thiago has been away.

She took to Instagram to share an adorable reel of her trip back to Costa Brava and revealed she is looking forward to being reunited with her husband. She said: "These summer days back home have been incredible, soon back with you @thiago6, we miss you so much."
Thiago is set to play a key role in Jurgen Klopp's side this season and is expected to be named in the starting XI for the Reds' first game of the season against Fulham on Saturday.
