The 'quicker, easier, nastier' national security threat

Artificial intelligence is being used by foreign powers to target Australian leaders through believable interactions, the government is warning.

The sophisticated search abilities of "quicker, easier, nastier" systems were a key national security risk, Home Affairs deputy secretary Ciara Spencer told an inquiry on Friday.
