Fuelled by the ire of Carlton fans, Isaac Heeney is backing new Sydney drawcard Charlie Curnow to light up the SCG in the AFL season opener.

Curnow will reunite against his former side on Thursday in a grudge match that even has midfield superstar Heeney feeling the hype.
