Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has claimed that Erik ten Hag needs to address the 'Jekyll and Hyde' performances his side produce depending on whether Casemiro is in or out of the team.
United's summer recruit from Real Madrid has performed admirably for his new club so far. However, when he has been missing, the Reds have looked vulnerable.
Casemiro missed the trip to Arsenal due to a yellow card suspension and United ended up succumbing to a 3-2 defeat that day. United were once again missing the Brazilian on Wednesday night following his red card against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Ten Hag would opt for Fred and Marcel Sabitzer in midfield but, despite the latter growing into the game, the former struggled to fill the boots of Casemiro. While United managed to rescue a point against Leeds in midweek, Parker is adamant that the Reds need to cut out their sloppy performances when the Brazilian is not in the squad.
Speaking to Apostagolos, the 58-year-old said: "I'm not surprised that Man United rely that much on Casemiro. The reason for that is that I have seen all the players let themselves and the club down before, so why should things change now?
"Everything works amazingly well with Casemiro in the midfield. He is an amazing player but they should be able to play a decent game without him on the pitch.
"Man United's team is like Jekyll and Hyde with and without Casemiro. It's quite fascinating actually how one player can change a team that much."
Casemiro will miss the next match with Leeds on Sunday as well as the visit of Leicester City next weekend. The former Real man will be able to face Barcelona on Thursday in the Europa League.
