Paul Merson has made his prediction for Everton’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
The Blues travel to North London on Saturday night to face Spurs in their next Premier League encounter. Frank Lampard ’s side will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
Everton are currently in 12th place in the league table, with that defeat to United ending an unbeaten run of seven matches in all competitions. Despite the recent run of form, Merson has tipped the Blues to lose to Tottenham on Saturday.

The Sky Sports pundit has explained how Spurs will have too much for Everton. He has predicted a 2-1 defeat for the Blues.
“Tottenham are starting to click under Antonio Conte,” wrote Merson for Sportskeeda . “They did well to stay where they are without Son Heung-Min. Now that he's started to play regularly, I think they'll do well.
“They haven't played too well so far and they're third in the Premier League - there's nothing too wrong with that. Teams like Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur need to keep their focus on the top four.
“Two big teams are going to miss out this season, and you don't want to be one of them. They need to keep on ticking away and reassess after the World Cup.
“Tottenham have stepped up this month and should be able to win this Premier League game.”
