Kieran Trippier says there is nothing for Newcastle United to bounce back from ahead of the clash against Crystal Palace.
The Eagles head to Tyneside after a mixed bag of results in the first five games with five points picked up so far. Even a last gasp win for Liverpool could not dampen Trippier's spirits ahead of another big clash.
Trippier told Chronicle Live: "We're back in our house now and Palace are on a good run so we need to respect them, no matter who we play. But make no mistake we'll be ready, we'll recover now and take a lot of positives from the game."

Trippier has played in some of the biggest and best arenas in world football during his time with Atletico Madrid while he ventured to the Champions League final with Tottenham Hotspur only in 2019. But he says nowhere is quite like St James' Park.
Trippier told me: "It's different, it's a different feel when you've got 50-odd thousand behind you. You look at teams that have visited there, they get a shock of how intimidating it is. We'll be ready, we'll all recover well and take a lot of positives because it was a positive night for us."
Eddie Howe is certain to make changes again but Trippier will take his place at full-back. However, regardless of who is on the team sheet, the full-back knows Newcastle will be strong.
He said: "Jamaal came in at Liverpool but he's worked hard all pre-season. He's trained very well and we've got a good squad, we've got players who come in and they're ready.
"They know their roles, Jam came in and Ryan Fraser he came in and they're all ready which just shows the depth that we've got in our squad."
