New Zealand skipper Tom Latham expressed respect for India's resilience even after leading his team to a historic 3-0 Test series victory on Indian soil, becoming the first visiting side to accomplish the feat. The Black Caps secured wins in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai, completing a dominant whitewash against Rohit Sharma’s side.
Despite the historic feat, Latham acknowledged India’s stature in world cricket and emphasized that despite the defeat, the team remained a formidable force. "Indian cricket in general is really special. We've played against them a lot. The guys play with them at the IPL. They were certainly gracious in defeat and they're still a quality side," Latham said after the team’s return from India.
