Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has backed Liverpool to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.
The Reds may have gotten off to a disappointing start with a 2-2 draw against Fulham on Saturday, but they're still among the favourites to lift the trophy at the end of the campaign. Rivals Man City top most pundits' list of expected winners after they won their second consecutive title last term.
However, Scholes has backed Liverpool to win the race this season, but warns you can never write off Pep Guardiola's side.

He told Premier League Productions : "They (Manchester City) are possibly favourites. But, as I said, I fancy Liverpool slightly.
“However, you can’t write off Manchester City. They are a brilliant football team. They are changing a little bit, in transition, I think, with (Erling) Haaland coming in.
“It will be interesting. Manchester City can win the Premier League, of course they can, because they are a brilliant football team.”
Liverpool made some big signings of their own with the addition of striker Darwin Nunez from Benfica. They also added young talent in Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay.
