Chelsea manager Graham Potter has perhaps dropped the biggest hint yet that Mason Mount could leave the Londoners this summer, as the England international continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at Stamford Bridge in 2024 and has so far rejected a number of offers regarding an extension, prompting speculation about his future to grow.
Liverpool are reportedly monitoring his situation and would be interested in Mount should he be made available, with the Reds planning a midfield revamp in the summer while also needing to bolster their total of home-grown players. However, they aren't the only Premier League side said to be interested.

As the midfielder edges closer to the final 12 months of his Chelsea contract, it's beginning to look increasingly likely that his future will lie elsewhere.
And asked again about Mount's future at his latest pre-match press conference, Potter confirmed he had spoken to the 24-year-old and hinted a Chelsea exit could be on the cards as the midfielder weighs up his contract options.
"My feelings for Mason are clear. I think he's a fantastic person, but sometimes these things happen," Potter said. "They are just complicated and it's best that I speak little about it and let both parties get on with it.
"I am not naive. It's an important time for him, it's an important contract. These things have to be right for him and his family and it's important he makes his decision on that basis."
