Clack, clack, clack went the fashion editors, as they tottered en masse to a catwalk one evening at London Fashion Week this June.
After a long winter spent marching in chunky stompers, it’s official — boots are out and sling backs are in, baby. And one brand in particular makes them for the glossy mag corridors and wardrobes of the uber-luxe, from Gigi Hadid to Gen Z star Olivia Neill: Prada.
They have made them for years which means endless variety: nylon, sporty pink pumps; patent leather loafer style; bright orange with Prada triangle logos; black and impossibly chic. So much so that at the start of this year, the white pair sported by the likes of Bettina Looney and stylist Hannah Lewis, were as hard to get your hands on as a reliable plane out of Heathrow.
