Do you need one of the Baldur's Gate 3 Treasure Packs from Sirius Dice? If asked, I will tell anyone that the question "do I need more dice?" is probably an emphatic "no." If you're the kind of person that has enough dice to then potentially have more, you do not need more dice. And yet, I still couldn't stop myself from salivating at the thought of getting my hands on some of these.
If you're unfamiliar, Sirius does a whole line of these Treasure Packs that typically include a die, an embroidered bag, and a metal coin of some kind. For the Baldur's Gate 3 one, there are 40 possible d20s, 21 possible metal coins, and 9 possible embroidered bags. That's a lot of goodies for one of the best tabletop RPGs.
There are differing levels of rarity for the dice – Legendary ones include The Wizard of Waterdeep and The Pale Elf, for example – but everything is themed after the popular D&D game. If this all sounds a lot like loot boxes, it should; welcome to the physical version.
While Sirius provided a couple of samples, I'm afraid the luck roll was not on my side. Beyond a couple Rares, I pulled largely Common dice in the roughly eight packs I opened. I'll simply have to look on from afar at the replica Astral Prism for now. (And I don't want to talk about how I hit several duplicate coins and exactly no Shadowhearts.)

What I did manage to pull does feel fairly sturdy. It's hard to say how these bags might hold up to extended play, but also, if your dice bag is being roughly handled on the regular you have other problems. The dice are as solid as I've come to expect from Sirius, and I'd happily recommend them to anyone in need, but every oversized d20 just makes me long for oversized entire sets.
The Baldur's Gate 3 Treasure Packs are available now online and in local game stores.
