Former prime minister Theresa May criticises Tory policy on net zero, judges and human rights

Theresa May has criticised a number of the Conservatives’ policies and warned the party against using “populism” for “short-term political ends”.

In a speech to peers on Monday evening, the former prime minister took issue with her party’s approach to net zero, the judiciary and human rights as she urged the Tories to show “leadership” instead.
