NEW DELHI: As five-time champions Australia lost their 2023 World Cup opener in Chennai on Sunday by 6 wickets, former skipper and opener Aaron Finch feels that the batters lacked intent against the quality Indian spinners.

Australia were bundled out for 199 on a spin-friendly Chepauk track as the trioka of Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav and R Ashwin shared six wickets between them.
