Retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady threw an absolutely gorgeous final touchdown of his career, an arcing deep ball in the fourth quarter that helped his team continue their comeback attempt, which ultimately fell short — even after running back Leonard Fournette’s rushing touchdown tied the game later in the fourth quarterback.
But Brady’s final passing touchdown, a throw to receiver Mike Evans, has actually provided no shortage of drama. For one, Evans chucked the ball into the stands making it likely impossible to track down, in the event Brady wanted that ball as a keepsake. (Though, I’m not sure it would be easy to find, even if the Bucs had gotten the ball back.)

That’s the first piece of drama. Brady, who seems to like keeping the balls that are a part of important milestones, will probably never see that one again. And if he does, the quarterback might have to buy it outright.
And then there was another funny layer with Brady’s final touchdown. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey couldn’t help but laugh that he was the final player in coverage for TB12’s finale. Ramsey had been covering Evans when he broke free for the long touchdown pass. He shared his thoughts on Twitter.
The best QB of all time retired, DANG… he threw his last TD on me 😂

There always has to be the last touchdown. At least, Ramsey can tell his kids about that story — even if he doesn’t come out looking favorably. He’s the best cornerback in the NFL. He should be OK.
