"There is no justification for the brutality Benjamin Netanyahu and his far right government have inflicted on the Palestinian people. Our band stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine." U2 on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza

U2.

The members of U2 - Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. - have each released an individual statement relating to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The four statements were shared on the group's website and on their Instagram account, prefaced by a joint statement from the Irish band.

"Everyone has long been horrified by what is unfolding in Gaza—but the blocking of humanitarian aid and now plans for a military takeover of Gaza City has taken the conflict into uncharted territory," it states. "We are not experts in the politics of the region, but we want our audience to know where we each stand."
