Evan Ferguson last night hailed Erling Haaland as the greatest striker bar none.
And he believes the Norwegian goal machine will fire Manchester City to Champions League glory against Inter Milan.
Having clinched the Premier League title, City are eyeing a treble going into Saturday’s FA Cup final with Manchester United and that Inter clash the following week.

Unstoppable Haaland has smashed an eye-watering 58 goals this season for club and country.
And Ferguson said: “Haaland is the one. With the season he’s had in the Champions League and Premier League, there is no better.
“He’s very good. He knows when to come short and once he comes short, his movement is all in behind.
“Once he does that, his movement is so good, no one can catch him.”
Ferguson, 18, is home in Dublin for a few days before linking up with the Ireland squad in Turkey next week.
And reflecting on his own amazing season, he declared last night: “It couldn’t have gone better’.
The Ireland ace helped fire Brighton into Europe after a stunning sixth-placed finish.
The teen scored 10 competitive goals in his first full Premier League season - and also opened his senior account for Ireland in the win over Latvia.
Next week, he jets out to Turkey with Stephen Kenny’s Ireland squad for a warm-weather training camp ahead of the Euro 2024 qualifier with Greece in Athens on June 16.
But Ferguson said: “For my first season, it could not have gone any better.”
And he hailed Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi for masterminding their season to remember.
The Seagulls picked up brilliant wins over sides like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.
And Ferguson said: “That’s just the way we play. The manager doesn’t care if it’s Southampton who got regulated or Man City, who are the champions.
“I wouldn’t say it’s an ego thing either, it’s just how the manager wants us to play.
“Going man-for-man against Manchester City last week (1-1 draw), I’d say only one, two or three teams did that and one of them was us.
“It was a good result and a good game.”
