Theft of ‘lorryloads of posh cheese’ a very difficult loss, says supplier

The theft of 22 tonnes of cheddar is “a very difficult loss”, a cheese supplier has said.

Tom Calver, director of Westcombe Dairy in Westcombe, Somerset, produced some of the stolen cheese and said he was “hugely distressed” when he heard the news.
