Cheating problems have been swarming ARC Raiders for some time now, and it’s facing a fresh wave of backlash after popular streamer TheBurntPeanut publicly warned that he is ready to walk away from the game if this problem is not addressed soon.
His frustration, already shared by many in the community, has now spilled onto social media and is quickly gaining traction. A recent clip posted on X captured the creator raging after running into what he says are the same cheaters over and over again.
In the video, he can be heard saying, “Embark, fix this, or I’m f**king out of here,” directly calling out the dev studio and demanding action. The post has already a lot of views, showing just how far the clip has traveled beyond his core audience.
If you’re unaware, TheBurntPeanut is a content creator and ARC Raiders grinder known for high-intensity gameplay and honest, unfiltered reactions on stream. He won the Best VTuber Award at The Streamer Awards in 2025. For many players, he represents the everyday competitive fan who puts in long hours and expects a fair-ranked environment.
If someone like him decides to leave the game entirely, it sends a message that the experience has gone from frustrating to unplayable for serious players.
What makes this flare-up even more significant is that Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has now weighed in as well. Shroud quote-tweeted the clip and said, “holy sh*t they might actually do something,” hinting that the combined pressure from creators and the broader community might finally push Embark to respond.
When a name as big as shroud amplifies a complaint, it usually draws more public attention and puts extra heat on the devs. Even 100 Thieves founder Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, who is also partnered with esports betting platform Roobet, has expressed his disappointment with cheating, claiming ARC’s problem “might be worse than peak Call of Duty” after a brutal first week of raids to start the new year.
ARC Raiders has already caught Hollywood’s eye and been praised by xQc. So, losing a creator like TheBurntPeanut would hurt more than just viewership numbers. Streamers and YouTubers are key to keeping a PvP-focused title visible on Twitch, YouTube, and social media. Their daily streams, clips, and commentary help bring in new players and keep existing ones engaged.
On the community side, his possible exit could deepen frustration among regular players who feel that cheaters are being left unchecked. Many competitive fans look to creators to voice concerns they might not be able to get in front of the studio themselves.

With the situation now on the radar of bigger figures like TheBurntPeanut and shroud, players will watch closely to see if the studio announces stronger anti-cheat measures or visible enforcement in the near future.
Earlier in January, the devs announced on their official Discord that they’ll implement a major anti-cheat system overhaul. It just needs to be seen how the situation improves from here.
