Baby Osian was given very slim odds of surviving when he was born.
There were times that his parents were not sure he would make it. Though still facing some health challenges, he has now been discharged after 14 months in various hospitals. Mum Georgina Jones, who is originally from Swansea, spoke recently about what this moment would mean to her. You can read the full interview with her here.
"Osian seems to love being home, sleeping well, exploring, taking it all in stride," explained Georgina, who gave up work to be there for her son. "His father and I are learning every day. Not having the safety net of the hospital will take a while but we will get there. He is worth all our efforts. We feel so lucky to have him home."
