The Witcher Is About to Get a Major Release Every Year Until The Witcher 4 — Can CD Projekt Avoid Franchise Fatigue?

CD Projekt has stopped being coy about its plans. In the company's H1 2026 results, joint CEO Michał Nowakowski said that between this year and the launch of the fourth game, CD Projekt Red is "aiming for one large Witcher-themed release each year."

The schedule is now fully public: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on September 29, Songs of the Past in 2027, The Witcher 4 targeting 2028.
