West Ham United may have one player in the England squad at the World Cup in Declan Rice, but he is not the only Hammers' representative working with Gareth Southgate.
Hammers first team coach Paul Nevin is out in Qatar as part of Southgate's senior men's coaching staff, working alongside the Three Lions boss and his assistant Steve Holland as part of the backroom team.
Nevin has previously worked with the England set-up as part of the FA's elite coach placement programme, with the Three Lions finishing third in the UEFA Nations League in 2019, and he is now hoping to help Southgate lead the team to glory in the Middle East.

And Mark Warburton, who works alongside Nevin at West Ham as first team coach, hopes that his friend and colleague can help England lift the World Cup trophy in Qatar.
“It’s not for me to speak for Paul [Nevin] but as a friend, I hope it’s a great experience for him," he told football.london. "You always learn from those experiences. Life is all about learning experiences. I hope very much Paul enjoys it and fingers crossed he comes back on the 19th with a trophy and medal in hand and then he can buy the beers in the canteen!”
Meanwhile, West Ham midfielder Flynn Downes believes that Nevin's involvement with England will in turn help the Hammers when he returns after the World Cup.
He said: "He [Nevin] is a good coach. Simple as that. That is why he is with England coaching the best players in the world. He knows when he comes back here what we bring. It is good working under him. He is working with the best players and best manager and he will bring that back here."
